Black Ladies of Groningen (BLOG)

BLOG staat voor Black Ladies of Groningen en dient als een veilige ruimte waar we een pauze kunnen nemen van de buitenwereld en onze worstelingen als zwarte vrouw kunnen bespreken zonder bang te hoeven zijn dat onze ervaringen worden geminimaliseerd.

Onze missie is om een inclusief platform te creëren dat vrouwen van Afrika en Caribische afkomst de mogelijkheid geeft om zich veilig te voelen, hun perspectieven te delen. Onze missie is ook om het bewustzijn te vergroten wanneer dat nodig is, en het publiek voor te lichten over actuele en sociale kwesties die ons aangaan. BLOG is inclusief alle zwarte vrouwen in die zin dat het anti-ableistisch en queer inclusief is.

BLOG stands for Black Ladies of Groningen and serves as a safe space that allows us to take a break from the outside world and discuss our struggles as Black womxn without fear of our experiences being minimized.

Our mission is to create an inclusive platform that allows womxn from African and Caribbean descent the city to feel safe, share their perspectives. Our mission also includes raising awareness when necessary, and educating the public on topical and social issues that affect us. BLOG is inclusive of all Black womxn in as such that it is anti-ableist, and queer inclusive.
